Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carwin comes to the cage accompanied by Telephone- Lady Gaga. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Carwin, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Carwin against the cage but Carwin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jones lands with an uppercut that bounces Carwin off the cage and back into rage.

Carwin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Jones has closed the distance and engaged Carwin in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but James Jones will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Carwin which made him look bad.

Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Carwin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jones stacks Carwin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jones!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Carwin sprawls well. Carwin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Jones has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Carwin finds it's way round the side to connect with Jones's head.
Carwin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jones doesn't seem bothered though.

James Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Carwin scores with a hook to the body. Jones takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Jones changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carwin circles away quickly and effectively.

Jones shoots in and bounces Carwin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Carwin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jones has picked Carwin up and slammed him! Carwin can't keep hold of the triangle and Jones manages to pass to side control!
