Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brass Mckill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zap Morten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morten moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Brass Mckill has been cut.
Morten shoots in for a takedown but Mckill shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Morten counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Morten wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A head kick misses from Morten.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mckill is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Morten is trying to stand up here but Mckill is controlling him well.
Mckill is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morten is just riding it out for now. Mckill eventually gives up the hold.

Mckill wants to work for an arm triangle but Morten is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Mckill is working for a kimura but Morten is defending it quite comfortably.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Mckill counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Brass Mckill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zap Morten.
Morten is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mckill is controlling him.
Mckill drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mckill jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Brass Mckill will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Brass Mckill's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Morten misses with a body kick.

Morten stalling away here and it's allowed Mckill to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Morten slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Morten would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Morten looking to sit in guard and control but Mckill gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Mckill drops back, looking for a kneebar! Morten looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Morten looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Morten!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Morten sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Mckill is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Morten is trying to get an arm triangle but Mckill is defending well.

Morten wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mckill keeps working.
Morten misses with the ground and pound.

Morten postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Morten looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Mckill is avoiding damage well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Morten scores with the left hand. Mckill knows he should have avoided that one.
Morten fails to land with a series of punches.
Morten motions for Mckill to come forward. Morten throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mckill is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Morten shoots in looking for a takedown. Mckill tries to sprawl out of it but Morten keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mckill manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Morten dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Morten shoots in but no luck this time.
Morten darts in and clinches Mckill up against the cage.
Morten manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Mckill has gone for a leg lock! Morten slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mckill's guard.
Morten wants to control from the top but Mckill keeps moving.

Zap Morten showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Morten swinging wilding here.
The fighters circle momentarily. Morten darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Morten drives through and clinches with Mckill against the cage.
Morten gets underhooks to prevent Mckill's takedown attempt.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Morten.
Morten breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mckill takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Morten misses with a few strikes there.
Morten throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mckill's waist but Mckill gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Morten off to one side.
Morten misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Morten clinches up against the cage.
Morten pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Some wild striking there from Morten.
Zap Morten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morten misses with a two punch combination.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Morten drives through and clinches with Mckill against the cage.
Nice body punch from Morten - that landed with a thud.
Morten gets control of Mckill's arms and successfully pulls guard. Morten will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Morten managing to control the position.
Morten wants to get back to his feet but Mckill is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Mckill postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Morten is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mckill, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mckill looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Morten pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mckill is keeping the position for now.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Morten trying to control the position but Mckill is working away.
Morten stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Morten clinches with his opponent.
Morten pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Morten lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mckill has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mckill and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
And that's the end of the fight!
Zap Morten comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Morten has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
