Cek goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Calaway plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Jakob Cek has been cut.
Cek fails with a takedown attempt.
Cek throws a jab but it's blocked by Calaway.

Cek avoids the head kick by Calaway.
Calaway closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Calaway lands with a left to the head.
Calaway cracks Cek with a nice body shot.
Calaway is struggling to control the position.
Calaway pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Calaway moves out of range as Cek throws a body kick.

Calaway lands a big head kick that sends Cek tumbling to the mat! Calaway takes a step backwards and waves Cek back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Calaway displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cek throws out the jab.

and Calaway counters with a crisp one two that drops Cek! Calaway thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Cek to his feet! Cek is in big trouble!

Calaway looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Calaway dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Calaway moves into the clinch successfully.
Cek has Calaway pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Calaway manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Calaway dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Calaway lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Cek backwards.
A right handed body shot lands from Calaway.

Calaway digs a right hand into Cek's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Cek's gas tank.

Calaway throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ceks head.
Calaway's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Good leg kick by Calaway there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Crunch! Calaway slams his shin into Cek's torso.
Calaway lands with a kick to the temple. Cek shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Calaway lands a big head kick that sends Cek tumbling to the mat! Calaway takes a step backwards and waves Cek back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Calaway throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Cek colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Calaway as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Cek is left battered and dazed whilst Calaway and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Urijah Calaway!
