Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Phillip McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Trumbley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Trumbley!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McGee swings for the body but Trumbley moves out of range.
Trumbley throws out a loose jab but McGee uses good head movement to avoid it.
McGee connects with a crisp jab.
McGee throws a looping overhand right but Trumbley ducks down to avoid it.
Trumbley throws a right and a left that McGee avoids nicely.
McGee misses the shot to the body.
Trumbley tries to land a leg kick but McGee saw it coming and moves away.
Trumbley moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Trumbley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McGee tries to avoid it but Trumbley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McGee to the ground. McGee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Trumbley is looking to take a break and control but McGee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Trumbley thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Trumbley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McGee lands a slapping body shot.
McGee scores with a jab.

Trumbley thuds his right hand into McGee's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
McGee dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
McGee is looking to wear down Trumbley with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

McGee ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

McGee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Trumbley manages to avoid it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
McGee regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Trumbley.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
McGee takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
