The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pomidor shoots in for a double leg but Borgermoen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pomidor lands a two punch combo.
Borgermoen takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Pomidor is looking to clinch but Borgermoen is avoiding it.
Borgermoen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Borgermoen trying to control the action but Pomidor is working from the bottom.
Borgermoen slips a nice elbow through Pomidor's hands, connecting with Pomidor's forehead.
Pomidor wants to control but Borgermoen is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Pomidor is refusing to be controlled, as Borgermoen sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Borgermoen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Borgermoen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pomidor keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Borgermoen prevents Pomidor from improving his position.
Pomidor flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Pomidor tries to clinch there but Borgermoen circles away.
Pomidor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Borgermoen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pomidor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pomidor is trying to control Borgermoen's posture but Borgermoen avoids it.
Borgermoen stands up and beckons Pomidor to his feet.
Pomidor misses with a takedown attempt
and Borgermoen counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pomidor!
Pomidor is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Borgermoen has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Pomidor is forced to tap!
