The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nutz misses with a two punch combination.
A jab lands there for Nutz.
Nutz throws a right and a left that Edwards avoids nicely.
Nutz cracks Edwards with a good jab.
Nutz swats away the attempt to clinch by Edwards.

Edwards shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Nutz is trying to stand.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Edwards connects with a nice short shot to Nutz's temple.
Nutz is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Edwards scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Edwards throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Nutz wants to control but Edwards is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Edwards throws a strike but Nutz avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Edwards accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
