Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wladimir Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and dan rovi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reis comes to the ring accompanied by Racionais MCs - A Vida é Desafio. rovi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: REAL. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
rovi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - rovi lands in his opponent's guard.
Reis looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Reis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst rovi is controlling him.
rovi stopping the sweep attempt from Reis.
Reis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Reis has his foot on rovi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. rovi works his way back into a safe position though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
rovi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Reis's waist but Reis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing rovi off to one side.

Reis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Reis swings around for an armbar but rovi sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Reis's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Wladimir Reis will probably get the nod.
That's time! Reis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Reis jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but rovi manages to avoid the submission attempt.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
rovi is trying to control Reis's posture but Reis avoids it.
rovi takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

rovi avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Reis.

Reis has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Reis goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now rovi is on top in guard.

Reis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. rovi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Reis.

Reis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. rovi is working away from the top position though.
Reis is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of rovi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take rovi's back!
Reis is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. rovi has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Reis has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! rovi taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Reis doesn't care though - he's delighted!
