Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rakishi Fatu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Merra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rakishi Fatu looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rakishi Fatu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Oscar Merra! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Merra slaps away a takedown attempt from Fatu, before circling back to the center of the mat. Merra misses with the combination.
Merra looks to land a combination. Fatu sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Merra throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fatu cracks Merra with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Merra looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Fatu finish him?
Merra is rocked!
It looks like Oscar Merra has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Fatu shoots in but no luck this time. Fatu takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Merra lands with a cross. Fatu is looking to clinch but Merra is avoiding it.

Fatu shoots in for a takedown but Merra shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rakishi Fatu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fatu is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A punch combination from Merra misses. Merra throws a nice looking combination but Fatu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Merra lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fatu circles away quickly and effectively. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Merra swinging wilding here.

That was a close round but I would say that Rakishi Fatu will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Oscar Merra's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Merra as he connects with a hook. Fatu has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. A nice combination there by Merra.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Merra will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

No joy there for Merra, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fatu shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Merra misses with the combination.

Merra tries to bum rush Fatu with a series of wild strikes but Fatu uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rakishi Fatu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Merra throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And that's the end of the fight! Oscar Merra comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Merra has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
