The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie slips a jab and a cross from Girard.
Nice sprawl there from Girard as Gracie shoots in.
Girard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rupert Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Girard counters with a crisp right hand that drops Gracie! Girard lets Gracie back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

and Girard counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Girard connects with a superb combination that knocks Gracie out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Girard before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Gracie!
