Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Crew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pat Steele!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crew fails to land with a series of punches.
Crew shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Steele manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Crew pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Steele is keeping the position for now.
Crew wants to control from the top but Steele keeps moving.
Steele had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Crew defends it easily.
Crew knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Steele on the ground.

Steele wants to stand and escape but Crew is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crew passes Steele's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Steele should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Crew is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Steele doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Crew.
Steele looking for submissions off his back.
Crew content to control rather than advance.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Crew is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Steele shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crew sprawls well. Crew wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Steele gets slowly back to his feet.
Crew gets a clinch.
Steele tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Crew smiles and moves away.
Steele shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Crew pinned against the cage. Crew gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
John Crew has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pat Steele.
Crew's corner calls for a 1-2. Crew obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Pat Steele has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Crew connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Steele's hands.
Crew connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Steele to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Crew!
