Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Micko Fliperic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dayne George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fliperic comes into the arena with Bruddah Iz - Hawaii 78 blaring out of the sound system. Dayne George will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Fliperic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? George is fending him off so far but Fliperic persists. Nope, George circles away and we're back to standing.
George slaps away a takedown attempt from Fliperic, before circling back to the center of the mat.
George throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
