Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Art Metroman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Ryzhkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Art Metroman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Art Metroman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yuri Ryzhkov! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Metroman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ryzhkov's guard. Metroman preventing the sweep. Ryzhkov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Metroman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Metroman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Metroman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ryzhkov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Metroman looking to pass the guard. Ryzhkov has an active guard here but Metroman has managed to pass into half guard.
Metroman is trying to control. Ryzhkov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Metroman works his way into side control. Metroman gets to mount! Ryzhkov was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ryzhkov keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Metroman wants to control the pace but Ryzhkov is squirming around nicely. Metroman looking to control and managing it successfully. Metroman looking for a guillotine from mount but Ryzhkov is having none of it. Ryzhkov bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Ryzhkov has gone for a leg lock! Metroman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ryzhkov's guard. Metroman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ryzhkov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Metroman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Ryzhkov looks gassed! Metroman wants to control from the top but Ryzhkov keeps moving. Metroman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Metroman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Metroman throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ryzhkov doesn't succeed with the takedown and Metroman counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Ryzhkov is looking for a sweep. Ryzhkov tries to get to full guard but Metroman has control of the leg. Ryzhkov looking for submissions off his back. Metroman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ryzhkov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Metroman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ryzhkov was covering up waiting for the punch and Metroman finishes the takedown easily into guard. Ryzhkov throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Metroman is looking to take a break and control but Ryzhkov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ryzhkov is looking for a sweep. Metroman working the ground and pound but Ryzhkov is defending the strikes. Ryzhkov sneaks back into half guard. Ryzhkov is trying to get back to full guard. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Metroman escapes and throws Ryzhkov's legs to the side, diving into side control! Ryzhkov tries to improve position but can't. Metroman throws an elbow but Ryzhkov slips to the side and avoids it well.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Metroman scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Ryzhkov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Metroman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Metroman advances to half guard. Art Metroman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Metroman in particular looking to stall. Ryzhkov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters roll with the hold and Metroman manages to kick Ryzhkov off! Ryzhkov jumps back into Metroman's guard. Metroman is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ryzhkov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Metroman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ryzhkov has Metroman in his guard. Ryzhkov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Metroman defends it easily. Ryzhkov has an active guard here but Metroman has managed to pass into half guard.
Ryzhkov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Metroman takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Metroman looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Ryzhkov looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Metroman is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Metroman moves nicely into side control. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Ryzhkov is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Metroman off and has taken his back! Metroman rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Ryzhkov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Metroman is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Metroman has escaped and now he's on top! Ryzhkov can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Metroman controls the pace. Metroman advances position into side control!

Metroman prevents Ryzhkov from getting the reversal. Metroman sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! And that's the end of the fight! Art Metroman showed his dominance in that final round. Well Metroman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
