Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Tudor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tudor comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Take it in Blood by Nas kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paulo Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Henry Tudor!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Gracie throws a head kick but Tudor moves out of range.
Gracie slips a straight right by Tudor.
Gracie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tudor avoids it really well and circles away.
Gracie gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gracie tries to bum rush Tudor with a series of wild strikes but Tudor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Paulo Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gracie shoots in but Tudor avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Gracie throws a lazy right hand but Tudor sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tudor sprawls well. Tudor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
Gracie darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Gracie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tudor moves away.

Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tudor paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gracie tries to land a leg kick but Tudor saw it coming and moves away.
Gracie throws a shot from downtown. Tudor moves away and avoids it.

Gracie trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Tudor is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Tudor's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Tudor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gracie sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Gracie looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Gracie is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Tudor to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Tudor shrugs it off.
Tudor is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Gracie seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Tudor is holding on tight.
Tudor squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Tudor stops Gracie from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Gracie is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Tudor has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Tudor is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Gracie looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
You get the feeling that Tudor really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Gracie goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Tudor turns into him and now he's in Gracie's guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Henry Tudor will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Tudor takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tudor pinned against the cage. Tudor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Gracie avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tudor thuds his right hand into Gracie's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Gracie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tudor sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gracie moves forwards but Tudor connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Tudor makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Tudor throws out a loose jab but Gracie uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gracie lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Tudor gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gracie to score an easy takedown into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Henry Tudor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

and Tudor counters with a three punch combo that has Gracie backing up. Gracie nods at Tudor to acknowledge the strikes.

Tudor stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gracie.
Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tudor's waist but Tudor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.
Tudor works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

It's a brutal combination of punches from Tudor! Gracie is backing up but he can't get away as Tudor lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Gracie and ends the fight. Great knockout.
