The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Agusto Esteter swats away the attempt to clinch by Macheda.
Macheda tries to close the distance and clinch but Agusto Esteter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Macheda misses with a body shot.
Macheda shoots for a takedown but Agusto Esteter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Macheda doesn't manage to clinch there - Agusto Esteter circles away.
Macheda rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Agusto Esteter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Agusto Esteter fails with a takedown attempt.
Macheda tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Agusto Esteter keeps the fight on the outside.

Macheda tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Agusto Esteter is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Macheda has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Agusto Esteter has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Macheda taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Agusto Esteter doesn't care though - he's delighted!
