Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Palle Vitrikainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Bino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palle Vitrikainen could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Pedro Bino's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Palle Vitrikainen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pedro Bino!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vitrikainen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bino moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bino lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vitrikainen circles away quickly and effectively.

Vitrikainen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bino has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Vitrikainen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bino tries to break free but Vitrikainen pushes him back against the cage.
Bino is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bino tries to score a body lock takedown but Vitrikainen shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Bino is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Vitrikainen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Vitrikainen is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bino asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The fight stays on the outside here - Bino looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bino closes the distance but Vitrikainen moves to the side
letting Vitrikainen counter with a right hand.

Vitrikainen cracks Bino with an uppercut from hell and Bino crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Vitrikainen's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Vitrikainen is pushing down on Bino's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bino is fighting to maintain full guard but Vitrikainen has managed to sneak the leg through.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vitrikainen connects with a nice short shot to Bino's temple.

Vitrikainen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bino has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vitrikainen has managed to get both his arms back between Bino's legs - danger averted.

Bino had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vitrikainen defends it easily.
