Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Sisfa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russel Mauvernay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mauvernay has chosen Rugrats Intro as his entrance music. The key to victory for Jimmy Sisfa has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Sisfa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Russel Mauvernay! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mauvernay blocks a head kick by Sisfa.
Mauvernay throws a leg kick that misses. Sisfa misses with the combination.
Mauvernay tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sisfa swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mauvernay fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sisfa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mauvernay is looking to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sisfa throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Sisfa is looking to slow Mauvernay down with leg kicks. Mauvernay avoids the head kick by Sisfa.
Sisfa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sisfa misses with a double jab.
Sisfa swats away the attempt to clinch by Mauvernay. Sisfa misses with the combination.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sisfa lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Sisfa throws a head kick that misses. Sisfa turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Sisfa throws a series of punches but Mauvernay avoids them all with ease.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sisfa swats away the attempt to clinch by Mauvernay. Sisfa lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
A head kick by Mauvernay misses and Sisfa counters with an inside leg kick. Mauvernay wants to clinch and Sisfa counters with a one-two to the body. Sisfa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jimmy Sisfa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sisfa scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. A nice combination there by Sisfa.
Mauvernay wants to clinch but Sisfa slips to the side and Sisfa counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Mauvernay closes the distance but Sisfa moves to the side and Sisfa counters with a three punch combo that has Mauvernay backing up. Mauvernay nods at Sisfa to acknowledge the strikes.
Mauvernay is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A head kick misses from Sisfa. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Sisfa dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sisfa throws a nice inside leg kick. Mauvernay avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sisfa throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Jimmy Sisfa is winning the standup battle so far. Sisfa lands a head kick. Mauvernay smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Mauvernay is still on wobbly legs! Can Sisfa finish him? Sisfa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A head kick by Sisfa - that's a beauty! Mauvernay is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Sisfa can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
