Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Demien Maias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Mihail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maias comes into the arena with Rockstar - Nickelback blaring out of the sound system. Mihail has chosen Despised Icon - Day Of Mourning as his entrance music. Andrey Mihail is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mihail throws a right and a left that Maias avoids nicely.
Mihail keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mihail stuffs the takedown.
Mihail rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maias moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mihail gets caught flat footed, as Maias shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Mihail wriggles free and stands up.

Maias shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mihail's guard.

Mihail is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Mihail breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Maias drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Mihail is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Maias asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Mihail lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Maias circles away quickly and effectively.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Maias fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mihail avoids it really well and circles away.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Maias tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mihail swivels and escapes.
