Liston has chosen Mama Said Knock You Out-LL Cool J as his entrance music. Don Vito is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vito cracks the inside of Liston's front leg.
Vito tries to clinch up but Liston circles away and keeps his distance.
Liston staying out of range there.
Liston keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Vito shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Liston is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vito is controlling him.
Vito distracts Liston with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Vito looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Liston avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Vito trying to control the position from guard on top but Liston is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Vito stays in close to Liston's body and controls the position.
Liston keeping moving, preventing Vito from controlling successfully.

Liston pushes Vito off and scrambles back to his feet.

Vito is breathing heavily.

Liston wants to get back to his feet.
Vito throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vito trying to control the action but Liston is working from the bottom.
Vito stops Liston from getting back to his feet.
Liston is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Vito not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Vito scores with a leg kick.
Don Vito seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vito misses with an uppercut. Liston saw that one coming.

Liston misses with a few strikes there.
Vito looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Liston circles away from the clinch attempt.
Vito throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Liston throws a right hand that Vito ducks under and follows up with a left that Vito also avoids with ease.
Vito moves in looking to clinch but Liston pushes him off.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vito.
Vito misses with a double jab
and Liston counters with a two punch combo.
A nice combination there by Liston.

Vito is rocked!

Vito wants to clinch.
Oh Vito is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jermaine Liston is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Liston looks to land a combination but Vito avoids it well.
Vito closes this distance looking for a takedown but Liston circles away.
Vito seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Vito. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vito tries to clinch up.
Vito fails with the takedown.
Vito throws a push kick but Liston slaps the foot to one side.

That was a close round but I would say that Don Vito will probably get the nod.

It's a brutal combination of punches from Liston! Vito is backing up but he can't get away as Liston lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Vito and ends the fight. Great knockout.
