Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Thomas keeps the fight on the outside.
Stromblad throws a body punch but Thomas moves out of range.
Stromblad should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Stromblad tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stromblad takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Stromblad throws a sloppy head kick and Thomas moves out of range easily.
Stromblad takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Thomas lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Stromblad misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Stromblad looks gassed!
Stromblad moves in looking to clinch but Thomas pushes him off.
Thomas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stromblad was well out of range. Poor timing from Thomas.

Thomas scores with the left hand. Stromblad knows he should have avoided that one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thomas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick by Thomas misses
and Stromblad counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Stromblad is looking to advance position but Thomas won't allow it.
Thomas is looking to escape.
Stromblad controlling the pace.
Thomas tries to kick Stromblad off but Stromblad keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thomas trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Stromblad seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Thomas does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Stromblad tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Danga de danga de dang - Thomas scores with a four punch combination!

Thomas feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stromblad's calf.
Thomas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thomas connects with a high kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thomas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thomas turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Stromblad takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Stromblad is rocked!
A slapping leg kick lands for Thomas.
Thomas throws a nice looking combination but Stromblad bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Thomas misses with a head kick.
Thomas tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick from Thomas lands but Stromblad takes it in his stride.
Thomas scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Stromblad is still on wobbly legs! Can Thomas finish him?
Thomas lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stromblad seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Thomas shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Stromblad is backing up but Thomas catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Stromblad covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Thomas Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fred Thomas!
