2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladislav Kyznetsov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, malte rosenkvist! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kyznetsov moves in looking to clinch but rosenkvist pushes him off. rosenkvist fails in his attempt to clinch. rosenkvist fails with a takedown attempt. An inside leg kick lands from Kyznetsov. Kyznetsov works the jab nicely. rosenkvist shoots in for a takedown but Kyznetsov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kyznetsov scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. rosenkvist looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kyznetsov moves into the clinch successfully.
Kyznetsov lands a good knee to the midsection. rosenkvist won't want to take too many of those. Kyznetsov prevents a takedown attempt there.
Vladislav Kyznetsov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of malte rosenkvist. Kyznetsov manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Kyznetsov trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kyznetsov takes rosenkvist's back. Kyznetsov is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
rosenkvist is trying to get back to his feet but Kyznetsov has full control of the position and if anything, rosenkvist has just worked his way into a worse spot. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. rosenkvist surviving as best he can, preventing damage. rosenkvist prevents Kyznetsov from getting a body triangle. rosenkvist looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. rosenkvist is in bad spot here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Will Kyznetsov go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
rosenkvist can't escape the position.
rosenkvist manages to stand up with Kyznetsov still on his back. Eventually Kyznetsov drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position. A slow jab from Kyznetsov misses its intended target. rosenkvist bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kyznetsov shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. rosenkvist circles away from the clinch attempt.
rosenkvist is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. rosenkvist misses with a takedown attempt - Kyznetsov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Vladislav Kyznetsov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. rosenkvist looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyznetsov throws a big shot that misses. Kyznetsov connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Kyznetsov lands a nice shot to the body.
Kyznetsov throws an overhand right that lands on rosenkvist's shoulder, as rosenkvist tries to avoid the shot. Kyznetsov has his takedown stuffed and rosenkvist counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. rosenkvist tries to free his leg and advance position but Kyznetsov is retaining full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as rosenkvist accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kyznetsov looking to control.
rosenkvist is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kyznetsov is working an open guard so rosenkvist takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

rosenkvist's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. rosenkvist gets control of Kyznetsov's arms and successfully pulls guard. rosenkvist will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Kyznetsov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kyznetsov wants to control from the top but rosenkvist keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kyznetsov got a little sloppy there for a moment and rosenkvist has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kyznetsov has managed to get both his arms back between rosenkvist's legs - danger averted. rosenkvist pushes Kyznetsov off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Kyznetsov goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Kyznetsov misses with a telegraphed body shot
and rosenkvist counters with a nice double leg into half guard. rosenkvist is looking for a kimura but Kyznetsov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for rosenkvist to get the leverage. rosenkvist is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kyznetsov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time rosenkvist. rosenkvist is looking to take a break and control but Kyznetsov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. rosenkvist really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kyznetsov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kyznetsov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. rosenkvist sitting in guard here, content to control. Kyznetsov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kyznetsov trying to control the position.

You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. rosenkvist trying to control the position from guard on top but Kyznetsov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. rosenkvist content to stall in guard here. rosenkvist must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kyznetsov has a closed guard, preventing rosenkvist from standing up. Kyznetsov can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as rosenkvist controls the pace. Kyznetsov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

malte rosenkvist showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Kyznetsov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Kyznetsov lands a jab to rosenkvist's midsection. rosenkvist fails in his attempt to clinch. rosenkvist moves out of range of the body kick from Kyznetsov.
rosenkvist shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. rosenkvist fails to advance to Kyznetsov's back. rosenkvist breaks from Kyznetsov's wrist control and lands an elbow. rosenkvist takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. rosenkvist can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kyznetsov is looking to escape. rosenkvist is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kyznetsov has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. rosenkvist sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Kyznetsov wants to hold on but rosenkvist pushes him away. rosenkvist tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. rosenkvist looking for a guillotine from mount but Kyznetsov is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. rosenkvist trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kyznetsov wants to hold on but rosenkvist pushes him away.
And that's the end of the fight! malte rosenkvist comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think rosenkvist has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
