Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donny Parris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Enea Vollare Mezzo. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Emelianenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Donny Parris! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parris closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Emelianenko is looking to regain half guard here but Parris keeps moving and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parris lands some shots froms side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parris thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ground and pound from Parris seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Emelianenko is pushing Parris's head away, looking to escape. Parris manages to hold on to the position though. Parris looks up at the clock and then as Emelianenko takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Parris smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Emelianenko is trying to control Parris's posture but Parris avoids it. Parris tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Parris throws an elbow but Emelianenko slips to the side and avoids it well. Emelianenko takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emelianenko managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Parris.
Parris goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Emelianenko rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Parris's guard! Nice work there by Emelianenko! Emelianenko works over Parris with some ground and pound from guard. Parris has momentary wrist control but Emelianenko slips an elbow through the middle. Parris trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Emelianenko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Parris has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Emelianenko has managed to get both his arms back between Parris's legs - danger averted. Parris looks gassed! Emelianenko tries to free his leg and advance position but Parris is retaining full guard. Parris had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Emelianenko defends it easily. Parris can't keep his opponent in guard - Emelianenko advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko is trying to control the action in half guard but Parris is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Emelianenko lands with a punch from half guard. Emelianenko prevents Parris from standing back up.
Emelianenko decides to return to a standing position. Emelianenko lands a big head kick that sends Parris tumbling to the mat! Emelianenko takes a step backwards and waves Parris back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Parris is rocked!
It looks like Donny Parris has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Emelianenko is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Parris is in big trouble! Emelianenko is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Parris. Poor guy.
