Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monsoon moves out of range of the strikes.
The fighters circling - Silva throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Monsoon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Monsoon finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Monsoon is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Silva has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Monsoon is looking to defend but Silva has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Monsoon! Silva pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Monsoon taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Hickson Silva!
