The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker throws a leg kick but Halme checks it.
Baker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Baker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Halme takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Halme misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Halme closes this distance looking for a takedown but Baker circles away.
Baker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Halme.
Baker scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Baker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Halme paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Halme has a takedown stuffed.
RJ Baker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Halme.
Baker ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Halme looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Baker drops Halme with a beautiful combination! Halme stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Baker is looking for the KO!
Halme is rocked!
It looks like Tony Halme has been cut.
Baker sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Halme's defenses. It connects perfectly with Halme's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
