Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeidren Croix Crowley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Crowley defends it nicely.
A head kick misses from Rua.
Rua cracks Crowley with a right hand to the side of the head.
Crowley defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rua.

Crowley rushes Rua and presses him up against the cage.
Crowley drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Crowley works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Rua has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Crowley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Rua throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Rua keeping moving, preventing Crowley from controlling successfully.
Crowley is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rua is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Crowley is in close to Rua's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Rua had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Crowley defends it easily.

Rua is looking to sinch up a triangle. Crowley throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Rua's body to avoid the submission. Rua has instead reached around Crowley's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Rua arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
