Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryu Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson misses with a double jab.
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The fighters circling - Jackson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jackson loads up on a big right hand but Silva slips the punch. Jackson misses with a head kick.
Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jackson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Silva lands the left hand. Silva slips under a jab. Silva avoids the head kick by Jackson.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Silva slips nicely into half guard. Silva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jackson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silva.

Silva is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jackson is surviving well by controlling Silva's body position as best he can. Jackson is trying desperately to improve position. Silva looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Jackson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Silva uses his free foot to push down on Jackson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jackson. Silva moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jackson has worked his arm free - good work by Jackson!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva working away. Silva prevents Jackson from escaping the position. Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jackson struggling a bit here. Silva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jackson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Jackson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Jackson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively. Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily. Nice defenses there by Silva. Silva fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jackson misses with a low kick as Silva jumps back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Silva to counter with a crisp jab. Jackson is breathing heavily. Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Silva shoots in and bounces Jackson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jackson's head. Silva stands up over Jackson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Jackson is trying to keep Silva in close.
Silva has gone for a leg lock! Jackson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Silva's guard. Silva has his foot on Jackson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jackson works his way back into a safe position though. Jackson wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jackson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jackson closes the distance looking to clinch and Silva counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Silva prevents Jackson from improving his position. Jackson works his way to full guard. Good work. Silva postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jackson keeping full guard, as Silva tries to pass. Jackson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryu Silva dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Jackson tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A head kick misses from Jackson. Jackson throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.

Silva drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jackson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jackson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jackson! Jackson in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Silva is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
