A bone on bone clash there as Couture blocks the leg kick.
Couture shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hogle defends it nicely.
Hogle stuffs the takedown.
Hogle gets the takedown into side control.
Hogle is chipping away with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Couture regains half guard.
Couture looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Couture gets full guard.
Couture controls Hogle momentarily but Hogle frees himself.
Couture has momentary wrist control but Hogle slips an elbow through the middle.
Hogle looking to pass the guard.
Couture working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hogle.
Hogle stands up over Couture, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hogle chips away with some ground and pound.
Hogle is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Couture has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hogle is looking to defend but Couture has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hogle! Couture pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hogle taps out and this one is all over!
