The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Shane Lesnar has been cut.
Lesnar looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Phillips throws a leg kick but Lesnar sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Phillips throws a head kick that misses.
Phillips fails with a takedown attempt.

Lesnar displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Phillips.
The fight stays on the outside here - Phillips looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Phillips looks to land a body kick but Lesnar moved away.
Phillips lands a left and a right that sends Lesnar crashing to the canvas! Phillips dives into mount looking to finish!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Phillips looking to control but Lesnar is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Phillips postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Lesnar in real trouble here! The ref calls for Lesnar to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
