Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jay Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan McDaniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bush throws a chopping leg kick but McDaniel manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
McDaniel leaves Bush with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McDaniel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bush swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bush is defended easily by McDaniel.
Bush shoots for a double leg takedown but McDaniel sprawls well. He's pushed Bush's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Bush. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McDaniel has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
McDaniel tries to clinch up but Bush circles away and keeps his distance.
Bush closes the distance and clinches up with McDaniel, looking for a takedown. Bush pushes McDaniel against the cage but McDaniel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
McDaniel shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bush counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

McDaniel decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
McDaniel is looking to advance position but Bush won't allow it.

Bush makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bush.

McDaniel wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Bush's closed guard. He's half up but Bush has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Bush pivots and extends the arm, McDaniel falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Bush! Well done that man!
