Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marco Rudirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rudirez comes to the cage accompanied by "Bulls on parade" Rage Against The Machine. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kang's choice of entrance music: Black Mass. Demian Kang has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Marco Rudirez's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Kang. Kang misses with a wild body shot. Rudirez tries for a takedown but Kang sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Rudirez moves out of range as Kang strikes. Rudirez shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Kang wants to clinch. Rudirez misses with a hook. Kang ducked under it nicely. Kang throws a right and a left that Rudirez avoids nicely. Kang throws a nice looking combination but Rudirez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kang connects with a nice looking jab.

Kang shoots in but Rudirez avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kang smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A jab from Kang misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kang misses with a takedown attempt and Rudirez counters with a single leg into guard. Kang didn't expect that. Rudirez stopping the sweep attempt from Kang. Kang keeping moving, preventing Rudirez from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rudirez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rudirez lands a couple of digs. Rudirez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Kang keeping moving, preventing Rudirez from controlling successfully. Rudirez throws a big right hand that misses. Rudirez tries to free his leg and advance position but Kang is retaining full guard. Kang controls Rudirez momentarily but Rudirez frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rudirez throwing strikes from guard but Kang blocks nicely. Kang trying to keep a closed guard but Rudirez is proving a slippery customer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rudirez takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kang keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Rudirez fails with the takedown. Kang throws a big shot that misses. Kang misses with a looping right. Demian Kang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rudirez feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kang's calf. Kang misses with a wild body shot. Rudirez has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kang finds it's way round the side to connect with Rudirez's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice jab there from Kang.

and Rudirez counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kang is trying to control but can't.
Kang wants to get back to full guard. Kang is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rudirez pulls his head out easily. Kang looks gassed! Rudirez lands strikes from half guard. Rudirez thows a huge punch but Kang dodges it nicely.
Rudirez not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rudirez connects with a nice short shot to Kang's temple. Kang avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rudirez. The fighters are battling for position here. Kang manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kang utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Rudirez looking to pass the guard. Rudirez tries to stand but Kang is controlling from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rudirez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kang is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rudirez is aware though and is defending well. Kang is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Rudirez postures up in Kang's guard and throws a big left but Kang blocks it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kang throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rudirez counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kang won't be happy with that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rudirez lands a nice forearm strike. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rudirez decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kang to his feet. A nice inside leg kick there by Rudirez. That's going to slow Kang down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marco Rudirez dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kang on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rudirez. Rudirez obviously looking to wear him down.
Kang throws a looping overhand right but Rudirez ducks down to avoid it. Rudirez shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Rudirez throws the left hand but Kang avoids the punch easily. Rudirez scores with a leg kick.
Rudirez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rudirez throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kang. Kang shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kang wants to advance to full mount but Rudirez doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Rudirez pulls Kang in close to his closed guard and prevents Kang from doing any damage or advancing position. Kang is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rudirez throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Kang tries to free his leg and advance position but Rudirez is retaining full guard. Rudirez doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Kang is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Kang trying to control but Rudirez is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kang misses with a looping right.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kang falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rudirez counters with an inside leg kick. Kang throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Rudirez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kang counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kang throws a hook to the side of Rudirez's head but Rudirez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kang misses with a wild body shot. Rudirez throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Rudirez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rudirez misses with a low kick.
Rudirez wants to clinch but Kang slips to the side and Kang connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kang looks to land a right hand but Rudirez moved out of range. A big right from Kang misses. Kang misses with the combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kang lands with an uppercut that bounces Rudirez off the cage and back into rage. Kang moves out of range of the body kick. Kang takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. A low kick from Rudirez is predictable there and Kang counters with a lovely straight right hand! Rudirez misses with a body kick. Kang moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Rudirez feints and then cracks Kang's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kang down. Rudirez throws a quick inside leg kick. Rudirez throws a nice inside leg kick. Kang throws a series of punches but Rudirez moves out of range. Rudirez tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Rudirez throws out a powerful jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kang fails with the takedown. Rudirez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Marco Rudirez dominated that second round. That's time! Rudirez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
A combination from Rudirez does no damage. Kang misses with an uppercut. Kang shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kang was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kang looking to control but Rudirez is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kang wants to take his opponent's back but Rudirez doesn't allow it. Kang is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rudirez has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rudirez! Rudirez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kang takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rudirez postures up and lands a big shot to Kang's brow. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Rudirez not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Rudirez throws a big right hand that misses. Rudirez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Rudirez grinds an elbow into Kang's temple. Kang is working to avoid the ground and pound but Rudirez connects with a decent elbow. Rudirez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kang is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kang gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Kang is looking to control Rudirez's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kang avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rudirez takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Rudirez performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Kang looking for submissions off his back. Rudirez is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kang doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rudirez. Kang wants to control but Rudirez is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rudirez throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Rudirez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kang keeps working. Kang is controlling Rudirez's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Demian Kang has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kang throws a right hand that Rudirez ducks under and follows up with a left that Rudirez also avoids with ease. Kang misses with an uppercut. Rudirez saw that one coming. A combination from Kang does no damage. A right-left combo lands from Kang. A punch combination from Rudirez misses. Kang lands a nice shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A big right from Rudirez misses. Kang connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Marco Rudirez is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Marco Rudirez is winning the standup battle so far. Rudirez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kang throws a series of strikes that have Rudirez backpedaling.
Kang throws a jab when Rudirez was well out of range. Kang throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rudirez sees it coming and avoids it easily. A punch combination from Kang misses. A punch combination from Kang misses. Kang tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Marco Rudirez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kang lands a head shot. Kang bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Rudirez blocks a jab. Kang looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Demian Kang. Well Rudirez has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
