Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Bautista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Power shoots in but Bautista avoids the takedown attempt easily. Power misses with a looping left. Bautista tries to clinch but Power is having none of it. Bautista slips under a jab from Power. Power shoots in for a takedown but Bautista shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bautista ducks under a wild hook from Power. Bautista clinches up against the cage. Bautista gets through Power's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Power breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bautista pushing out the jab but it's not landing. The fighters circle momentarily. Bautista darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Bautista slips a straight right by Power. Power changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bautista tries to avoid it but Power manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bautista to the ground. Bautista escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dave Bautista has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Power. Bautista clinches up against the cage. Power can't break the clinch.
Bautista lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Power backwards. Bautista lands an elbow inside that Power shrugs off.
It looks like Max Power has been cut. Power tries to break the clinch but Bautista is controlling the position. Bautista is leaning against Power and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Power looks gassed! Power is trying to break free. Bautista lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Power tries to break free but Bautista pushes him back against the cage. Power avoids the elbow strike from Bautista, against the cage.

That has opened up Max Power's cut even more. Bautista leaning against his opponent.

The cut above Max Power's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Bautista tries a knee to the head but Power blocks it.

This has been an exciting period of action! Bautista lands a shoulder strike. Bautista lands an elbow that stopped Power in his tracks for a moment. Bautista lands an elbow inside that Power shrugs off. Bautista connects with a knee to the head.
Max Power's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Bautista is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Bautista lands with a right to the head. Bautista creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Bautista holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Power working hard to break the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bautista creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Bautista throws an elbow that misses.

Bautista moves into the clinch. Bautista is struggling to control the position. Still in the clinch, Bautista scores with a nice short uppercut. Bautista misses with an elbow over the top. Power breaks from the clinch.

Bautista moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Power misses with a straight left. Power changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bautista tries to avoid it but Power manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bautista to the ground. Bautista escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Max Power seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bautista connects with a crisp jab. Power takes one to the side of the head.
Bautista bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Power's head backwards.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Max Power's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
