Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alan Belcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryu Gracie is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a shot from downtown. Belcher moves away and avoids it.

Gracie throws the left hand but Belcher avoids the punch easily.

Belcher feints and then cracks Gracie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracie down.

Belcher shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gracie's guard.

and Belcher counters with an outside leg kick.
No joy there for Gracie, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Belcher seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gracie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
