Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Dunne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dunne has chosen Souvenir - Arno Cost as his entrance music. John Smith has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Josh Dunne! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dunne is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dunne throws a leg kick which misses Smith's front leg but catches the back leg as Smith tries to avoid it. Smith doesn't manage to clinch there - Dunne circles away.
Smith gets a takedown into half guard. Smith wants to free his trapped foot but Dunne is holding on for dear life with his legs. Dunne controlling the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Smith tries to stand but can't do so whilst Dunne controls his leg. Smith throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Smith lands strikes from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dunne gets full guard. Smith looking to sit in guard and control but Dunne gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Dunne stands up from Smith's guard - Dunne perhaps looking for a knockout. Good leg kick by Dunne there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dunne throws a nice inside leg kick. Smith is breathing heavily. Dunne lands a nice leg kick that just misses Smith's sensitive parts. Josh Dunne is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dunne moves into the clinch. Dunne with a knee to the head.
It looks like John Smith has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dunne lands a knee to the head.
The referee is keeping an eye on Dunne - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Dunne unloads a knee to the mid-section. Dunne's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Dunne landing knees to the head.

Smith is looking to control Dunne's arms but Dunne gets an underhook and turns him. Now Smith has his back to the cage. Knees in the clinch landing for Dunne.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Smith being controlled against the cage. Dunne lands a knee to the head.
Smith is rocked! Dunne with a knee to the head.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Dunne takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Dunne throws an elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dunne tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Come on Dunne - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Dunne throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Smith as Dunne tries to tie him up. Smith avoids the elbow strike from Dunne, against the cage.
Smith tries to pull guard but Dunne won't allow it.
Nice elbow from Dunne. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Smith leaning his opponent against the cage. Smith tries for a takedown. No joy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dunne connects with a nasty looking knee right to Smith's face.
Smith can't break the clinch.
Smith throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dunne blocks it with crossed arms. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Dunne dominated that round. The cut man is working on John Smith's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Dunne lands a big head kick that sends Smith tumbling to the mat! Dunne takes a step backwards and waves Smith back to his feet - he wants the finish! Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dunne throws a series of punches but Smith moves out of range. Dunne thows a body kick. Smith tries to catch it but that hurt him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Dunne throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Smith is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Josh Dunne!
