Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Saddleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Daaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daaz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Meshuggah - Mind's Mirror. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saddleman tries to bum rush Daaz with a series of wild strikes but Daaz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Saddleman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Saddleman stalks Daaz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Daaz's face. Daaz staggers backwards, shaken.

and Saddleman counters with a two punch combo.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Daaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Saddleman tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Daaz counters with a slapping leg kick.

and Daaz counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Saddleman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Daaz's waist but Daaz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Saddleman off to one side.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
