Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Travis Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vladimir Putin struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene pushes Putin up against the cage in a clinch.

Putin tries to work over Greene's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Putin breaks the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Putin is defended easily by Greene.
Greene keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Greene feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Putin's calf.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Putin loads up on a big right hand but Greene slips the punch.
Putin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Greene tries to avoid it but Putin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Greene to the ground. Greene escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Putin uses his free foot to push down on Greene's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Greene.

Putin has an Americana. Greene didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Putin is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Putin hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
