Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rick Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Fisher!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher stuffs the takedown attempt from Johnson. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet.

Fisher lands a left and a right that send Johnson crashing to the mat, dazed. Fisher thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Johnson is rocked!


It looks like Rick Johnson has been cut.

Johnson drives through and clinches with Fisher against the cage.
Fisher working hard to break the clinch.
Fisher is looking to break free of the clinch but Johnson has double underhooks.

Johnson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Fisher drops Johnson with a beautiful combination! Johnson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fisher is looking for the KO!
Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Johnson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Fisher!

Johnson has hold of one of Fisher's legs. Fisher is fighting the takedown attempt but Johnson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Fisher swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fisher lunges at Johnson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Johnson's hand.

Johnson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Johnson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
