Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Fletcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Kane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Liam Fletcher! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fletcher fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kane slaps away a takedown attempt from Fletcher, before circling back to the center of the mat. Fletcher shoots for a takedown but Kane saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. David Kane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liam Fletcher. Fletcher doesn't manage to clinch there - Kane circles away.
Fletcher displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kane. Fletcher keeps the fight on the outside. Fletcher gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kane holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Kane is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Fletcher fails to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fletcher lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kane backwards. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Kane as Fletcher tries to tie him up. Fletcher manages to break the clinch.
Fletcher fails with the takedown and Kane counters with a shoot takedown. Fletcher fights it but they end up in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kane postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Kane sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fletcher's guard. Fletcher wants to get back to full guard. Kane seems to be looking for submissions.
Kane slows the pace down in half guard. Fletcher looks like he's trying to stand up.
Fletcher looks gassed! Kane controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kane trying to mount his opponent but Fletcher defends it. Fletcher trying to control but Kane postures up.
Kane is working for a submission of some sort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fletcher wants to get back to full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nice sprawl there from Kane as Fletcher shoots in. Kane misses with a two punch combination.
Fletcher cracks Kane with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Fletcher tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Fletcher misses with an attempted mid kick.
Fletcher has his takedown stuffed The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. and Kane counters with a nice uppercut. Fletcher looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kane is fending him off so far but Fletcher persists. Nope, Kane circles away and we're back to standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fletcher lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Fletcher closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kane works his way to full guard. Good work. Kane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fletcher on the ground. Fletcher missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kane tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kane is working hard here to advance position. Fletcher tries to stand but Kane is controlling from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Kane dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kane avoids a kick to the body.
Kane looks to clinch and Fletcher counters with a left and a right that stings Kane. Kane defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fletcher. Horrible takedown by Kane or perhaps it was just good defense by Fletcher which made him look bad. Fletcher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fletcher has his takedown stuffed and Kane counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fletcher's guard now. Kane looking to pass the guard. Fletcher kicks Kane off and gets to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fletcher avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fletcher shoots for a double leg takedown but Kane sprawls well. He's pushed Fletcher's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. David Kane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liam Fletcher. Kane gets the takedown into side control. Fletcher is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Kane trying to mount his opponent but Fletcher defends it. Fletcher is not content to let Kane control the position. Kane wants to pass the guard but Fletcher is defending well. Fletcher is staying active underneath Kane, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kane prevents Fletcher from improving his position. Fletcher is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Fletcher tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kane counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fletcher's guard now. Fletcher wants to get back to his feet but Kane is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Fletcher working a defensive guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fletcher looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kane puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Fletcher keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Fletcher tries to roll over but Kane keeps him under control. Fletcher trying to control here.
Fletcher moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kane postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fletcher utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kane postures up in Fletcher's guard and throws a big left but Fletcher blocks it. Kane trying to control the position from guard on top but Fletcher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kane has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fletcher punishes Kane's body with a nice straight punch. Fletcher dives in and grabs Kane's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kane pushes down on Fletcher's head and hops out. Fletcher avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fletcher changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kane looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fletcher tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fletcher has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kane looks to move to half guard but instead Fletcher has passed into mount! Damn! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Kane dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Fletcher instigates a clinch. Fletcher wants the takedown. Kane is fighting it off but Fletcher persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kane's guard against the cage. Kane controlling Fletcher's posture. Fletcher won't allow Kane to get back to his feet. Kane throws his legs up looking for a submission but Fletcher uses it to pass to side control.
David Kane overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fletcher lands some shots froms side control. Fletcher in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Kane is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Liam Fletcher!
