0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thiago Vasco! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Oneill. No joy for Vasco on that attempt. Vasco shoots for a takedown but Oneill saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vasco. Mickey Oneill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago Vasco. Vasco shoots for a double leg takedown but Oneill sprawls well. He's pushed Vasco's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Vasco tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oneill sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vasco somewhat. Oneill lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vasco circles away quickly and effectively. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Oneill!
Oneill will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's one minute gone in the round. Oneill scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Vasco looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Vasco looks gassed! I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Oneill has cracked Vasco with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Oneill lands another huge swinging hook and Vasco tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Vasco, before Oneill can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mickey Oneill!
