Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Sams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colby Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson looks to land a left hand but Sams moved out of range nicely.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Henderson tries to clinch but Sams is having none of it.
Sams has closed the distance and engaged Henderson in a clinch.
Sams breaks the clinch.
Henderson misses the shot to the body.
Colby Henderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henderson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sams checks a leg kick.
Sams throws a body punch but Henderson moves out of range.
Henderson throws a hook to the side of Sams's head but Sams sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Henderson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Sams throws a lazy right hand but Henderson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sams lands with a cross.
Henderson looks to land a combination but Sams avoids it well.
Henderson throws a jab when Sams was well out of range.
Sams scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Colby Henderson has been cut.
Henderson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sams closes the distance and pushes Henderson back into the cage.
Henderson tries to circle away but Sams has him pinned against the cage.
Henderson is trying to force a seperation but Sams has the dominant position.
Sams digs a right hand underneath Henderson's ribcage. Henderson let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Henderson looks gassed!
A frustrated look appears on Henderson's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Sams keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Henderson's efforts to push away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sams jumps guard and drags Henderson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sams wants to sweep but no luck.
Sams not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sams lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Henderson!

Sams throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Sams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sams throwing strikes but Henderson uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Henderson is in trouble now - Sams has advanced to mount!
Sams is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Henderson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sams working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Sams tries to control but Henderson wriggling away.

Sams can't control as he wanted to and Henderson manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

Sams looks to land a strike but Henderson avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sams trying to control the position from guard on top but Henderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sams works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The cut above Colby Henderson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Sams throws a shot from downtown. Henderson moves away and avoids it.
Sams works the jab nicely.
Sams fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Henderson on the side of the head.
Sams swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sams misses with an uppercut. Henderson saw that one coming.
A punch combination from Henderson misses.
Sams misses with a looping left.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Henderson misses the jab.
Sams throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Henderson walks into a left hand.
Colby Henderson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Sams gets a clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Sams.
Sams breaks the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Sams dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Colby Henderson's cut.
That's time! Sams's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Henderson on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Sams lands a two punch combo.
Sams misses with a hook. Henderson ducked under it nicely.
A swing and a miss from Henderson.
Sams circles away from the clinch attempt
and Sams connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Henderson takes a shot right to the bread basket.

and Sams counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Sams tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Henderson prevents a takedown attempt there.
Sams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Henderson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Colby Henderson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Matt Sams!
