The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Oliveira leaves Mac with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Mac. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Mac avoids the head kick by Oliveira.

Oliveira tries to bum rush Mac with a series of wild strikes but Mac uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Mac closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Oliveira finds Mac's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Mac flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Oliveira lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Mac will be OK.
