Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Jooginz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Benton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jooginz comes to the cage accompanied by Break some shit. Benton comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kung Fu Fighting kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrew Jooginz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sam Benton! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benton is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jooginz's half guard. Benton missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Benton blocks the strikes from Jooginz.
Benton sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jooginz defending well though. Jooginz wants to improve his position but Benton is controlling well.
Benton works his way into full mount! Benton has control of Jooginz's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jooginz regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Benton moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jooginz has worked his arm free - good work by Jooginz!
Benton misses with the ground and pound. Benton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jooginz keeps working. Benton tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Benton throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Jooginz works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Benton tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jooginz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Benton is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Benton thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Jooginz to regain full guard. Benton avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jooginz is trying to control the position but Benton postures up. Benton working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Benton passes Jooginz's left leg - he's now in half guard. Benton is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Jooginz still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Jooginz has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! The ground and pound from Jooginz seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jooginz lands a couple of elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jooginz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Benton gets a clinch. Benton goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jooginz prevents it.
Benton gets a trip takedown into half guard. Jooginz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jooginz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Benton postures up and lands a big shot to Jooginz's brow. Jooginz tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jooginz doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Benton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Jooginz wants to sweep here but Benton controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Benton is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jooginz trying to control the position here. Jooginz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Benton is one step ahead there. Jooginz controls Benton momentarily but Benton frees himself.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Benton pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Benton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Benton. Jooginz shrugs it off though. Benton misses with an attempted mid kick.
Benton is looking to clinch. Benton moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Benton closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jooginz circles away. Sam Benton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jooginz swats away the attempt to clinch by Benton. Jooginz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Jooginz looks to score with a jab to the body but Benton is just out of range. Benton cracks the inside of Jooginz's front leg. Benton fails with a takedown attempt. Andrew Jooginz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Benton.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Benton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Benton scoring with punches and elbows. Jooginz is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Jooginz throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Benton is putting a hurting on Jooginz here, landing some big shots from side control. Jooginz sneaks back into half guard. Benton is pressing down on Jooginz's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jooginz is holding on for now. Jooginz actively working from the bottom here. Benton works his way into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jooginz wants to control but Benton postures up. Benton is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jooginz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Jooginz is looking for a sweep. Jooginz is not content to let Benton control the position. Benton sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jooginz is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jooginz manages to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Benton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Jooginz tests Benton's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jooginz checks a leg kick. Benton fails with the takedown. Benton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jooginz as he jumps to the side. Benton fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jooginz keeps the fight on the outside. Benton shoots in for a takedown but Jooginz shows good takedown defense. Andrew Jooginz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Benton. Benton fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jooginz. The fighters circling - Jooginz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Benton buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

An inside leg kick lands from Benton. Benton scores with a takedown into Jooginz's guard. Benton takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Benton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jooginz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jooginz throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
Benton passes Jooginz's left leg - he's now in half guard. Jooginz gets back to full guard.

Sam Benton is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Benton sitting and controlling from the half guard. Let's hope that Benton has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Benton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jooginz keeps working. Jooginz makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jooginz.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jooginz striking off his back but it's not causing Benton any problems. Benton trying to control but Jooginz is working from the bottom. Benton sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jooginz's guard. Andrew Jooginz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Benton is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Jooginz wants to control but Benton is having none of it. Jooginz is looking to improve his position but Benton isn't that keen on the idea. Benton looking to control but Jooginz is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jooginz is desperately trying to improve his position but Benton has a good base and remains in mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Benton trying to control but he's not successful this time. Benton controlling his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Sam Benton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Benton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
