Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Terry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Pollock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terry comes to the cage accompanied by england belongs to me. Henry Pollock told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Pollock!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pollock fails with a takedown attempt.

Pollock goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Pollock shoots in for a takedown but Terry shows good takedown defense.
Daniel Terry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Pollock.
Terry defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pollock.
Pollock closes the distance and clinches up with Terry, looking for a takedown. Pollock pushes Terry against the cage but Terry circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Terry ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pollock shoots in looking for a takedown. Terry tries to sprawl out of it but Pollock keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Terry manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pollock looks gassed!
Pollock will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Pollock shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Horrible takedown by Pollock or perhaps it was just good defense by Terry which made him look bad.
Terry scores with a nice right hand.
Terry fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Pollock to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Pollock looks to clinch but Terry throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Pollock taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Daniel Terry!
