Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jermaine Event (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Roc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Event might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eazy E - Real M***** F****** G's. Roc has chosen Hey Man, Nice Shot as his entrance music. Jay Roc will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jermaine Event! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Roc! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roc blocks a head kick by Event.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Roc checks a leg kick. Roc blocks a head kick by Event.
Event throws a leg kick but Roc checks it. Event attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Roc closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Roc tries for a kimura but Event is defending well. Event regains half guard. Event is staying active underneath Roc, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Roc is looking for a kimura but Event is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Roc to get the leverage. Event wants to get back to full guard. Event actively working from the bottom here. Roc throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Roc wants to work for an arm triangle but Event is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Event looks for the body kick but Roc saw that one coming. Event misses with a head kick.

Jermaine Event is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Event tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Event is breathing heavily. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Event. Roc looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Event is fending him off so far but Roc persists. Nope, Event circles away and we're back to standing. Event throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Event goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Event throws a head kick that misses. Event throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. Roc darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Roc slips a nice elbow through Event's hands, connecting with Event's forehead. Roc is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roc seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Event is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
