Miura has chosen Ryuichi Sakamoto - Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence as his entrance music. Chuckie Liddell has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miura ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Liddell moves away.
Liddell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Miura misses with a hook. Liddell ducked under it nicely.
Miura throws a shot from downtown. Liddell moves away and avoids it.
Liddell uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Miura.
Liddell moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Liddell tries to bum rush Miura with a series of wild strikes but Miura uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Liddell keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Miura walks into a jab.
A jab from Liddell misses.
Miura throws a body punch but Liddell moves out of range.
Liddell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Miura looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
No joy there for Liddell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Liddell digs a good body shot into Miura's ribs.
Miura looks gassed!
Liddell scores with a crisp jab that stopped Miura in his tracks.

It looks like Takeshi Miura has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Liddell lands a body shot.
Liddell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Miura seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Liddell shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Miura is backing up but Liddell catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Miura covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Liddell Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
