Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Velnart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patterson comes to the ring accompanied by "I'm Too Sexy". Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson misses with a head kick.
Patterson moves away from the strike by Velnart.
Patterson walks into a left hand.
It looks like Pete Patterson has been cut.
Velnart throws a hook but Patterson blocks it.
Velnart digs a good hook to Patterson's body.
Velnart misses with a looping right.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Velnart has cracked Patterson with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Velnart lands another huge swinging hook and Patterson tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Patterson, before Velnart can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Alex Velnart!
