The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smythinton misses with an attempted mid kick.
Smythinton circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gastelu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smythinton paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gastelu slips under a jab from Smythinton.
Smythinton throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Smythinton looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Gastelu has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Smythinton finds it's way round the side to connect with Gastelu's head.

Smythinton cracks Gastelu with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Smythinton throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Smythinton moves into range and connects with a jab.
Gastelu is still on wobbly legs! Can Smythinton finish him?

Smythinton throws an uppercut from hell that sends Gastelu clean off his feet! He's out cold! Smythinton stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
