Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damien Paine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ragnar Danneskjold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danneskjold has chosen Bang Your Head by Quiet Riot as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paine thows a body shot but no joy.
Paine walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Danneskjold pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Danneskjold lets loose with a powerful body kick. Paine will feel that in the morning.
Danneskjold will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Paine throws a right and a left that both miss.
Paine moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Danneskjold is looking to clinch but Paine is avoiding it.

Danneskjold clinches up against the cage.

Danneskjold turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Danneskjold in side control, throwing shots but Paine defends.
Paine avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Danneskjold.
Danneskjold cracks Paine with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Paine tries to buck Danneskjold off but Danneskjold is having none of it.

Danneskjold is working to tighten is grip on Paine's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Paine has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Danneskjold is really squeezing tight and eventually Paine passes out! Danneskjold breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
