Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ro Nin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matthew Crane could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ro Nin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Matthew Crane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ro Nin! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crane sends Nin crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Crane is motioning to the referee to let Nin up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Ro Nin has been cut. Nin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nin showed some decent athleticism there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nin tries to pass to full mount but Crane defends it. Crane looks like he's trying to stand up.
Nin passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Crane! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crane is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nin working for a submission but Crane is keeping him at bay. Nin trying to control but Crane is having none of it. Nin jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Crane manages to avoid the submission attempt. Crane really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crane is not content to let Nin control the position. Nin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Crane is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Crane wants to get back to his feet but Nin drags him back down. Nin has hold of Crane's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Crane seems comfortable defending it but Nin has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Crane is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Crane is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Nin couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ro Nin!
