Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jon Hallquist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Hardcore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jon Hallquist!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Henry Hardcore!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hallquist closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hardcore to the mat! Hardcore manages to get full guard.
Hardcore had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hallquist is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hardcore Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hallquist's back instead.
Hardcore has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hallquist has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Hallquist defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Hardcore is not going to allow Hallquist to sit and survive in this position.
Hardcore doesn't have the hooks in and Hallquist manages to turn into his guard.
Hallquist wants to stand but Hardcore has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Hallquist advances to half guard.
Hardcore is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Hallquist pulls his head out easily.
Hardcore looks gassed!
Well, if Hallquist is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hardcore is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hardcore manages to get to full guard.
Hallquist advances position into side control!
Hardcore tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Hallquist presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Hallquist landing punches.
Hardcore is working to get back to half guard.
Hallquist pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hardcore tries to improve his position but Hallquist has taken his back! Hallquist has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Hardcore tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Hallquist pushes Hardcore away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jon Hallquist!
