The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gunn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gunn has taken the fight to the clinch.
Riberio leaning his opponent against the cage.
Riberio fails to pull guard.
Gunn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gunn misses with a wild combination.
Riberio tries to clinch there but Gunn circles away.
Gunn throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Gunn lands a nice looking body shot.
Gunn checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Riberio is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gunn's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Gunn duly obliges.

Gunn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gunn misses with a few strikes there.
Gunn lands with an overhand left.
Riberio could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Riberio misses with a kick to the body.
Gunn throws a right and a left that both miss.
Riberio throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gunn throws a quick inside leg kick.
Riberio is breathing heavily.
Riberio takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A low kick from Gunn misses
and Riberio counters with a single leg into guard. Gunn didn't expect that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Riberio sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gunn's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Riberio is trying to work for a kimura but Gunn is defending well.
Gunn tries to get to full guard but Riberio has control of the leg.
Riberio wants to take a breather but Gunn is having none of it.
Gunn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gunn avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Riberio.
Gunn is defending against the submission attempts here by Riberio.
Riberio has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gunn makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gunn.

Riberio postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Riberio working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Riberio throws a big right hand that misses.
Gunn keeping moving, preventing Riberio from controlling successfully.
Gunn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Riberio is one step ahead there.
Gunn is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Riberio trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Riberio blocks a head kick by Gunn.
Gunn swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Riberio.
Gunn misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gunn lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gunn.
Riberio takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gunn tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Gunn lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Gunn is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
A low kick from Riberio is predictable there
and Gunn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Gunn dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Gunn throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Gunn drops Riberio with a huge uppercut! Riberio drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Gunn is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
