The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ito misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Yamada.
Ito walks into a stiff left hand from Yamada.
Yamada lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ito looks to score with a jab to the body but Yamada is just out of range.
Yamada keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Yamada swats away the attempt to clinch by Ito.

Yamada ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ito moves away.
Ito takes a body punch but keeps moving.

and Yamada counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Yamada fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ito on the side of the head.
Kane Yamada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yamada lands a left and a right that send Ito crashing to the mat, dazed. Yamada thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Ito is rocked!
Yamada fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Ito square on the jaw! Damn, Ito is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
